Through Liberty University she received a BS in Psychology and Christian Counseling (2016), a BS in Psychology and Addiction Counseling (2016), a MA in Addiction Counseling (2018), and an EdD in Community Care and Counseling - Traumatology (2025). Kimberly’s work in the field of behavioral health began in 2016 by serving children and families that are a part of the foster and adoption system in the state of Arizona. Her work in the field of trauma counseling has continued to expand to meet the needs of teenagers, adults, and seniors receiving treatment for unresolved childhood trauma, PTSD, addiction disorders, and depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. The services Kimberly offers are rooted in a Christ-centered, Biblically integrated approach that respects the science and empirical nature of research within the field of counseling. Kimberly continues to seek further education and training that allows her to increase in her knowledge of neuroscience, somatic experiencing work, and forward facing trauma therapy. Her work is grounded in attachment theory paired with the use of mindful regulation. Kimberly enjoys raising her daughter, Adley and her son, Teddy alongside her husband, Tyler, who is also a counselor. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, drinking quality coffee from local coffee shops, baking pastries and decorating cakes, and enjoying time at home resting or crocheting alongside her four cats (Nachos, Patches, Butterscotch, and Piper) and two dogs (Gus and Penny).
Tyler Langford, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona, moved to Prescott, AZ as a young child and has been integrated in the culture of this community by way of church ministry, sports organizations, and working in the recovery community with issues pertaining to drug and alcohol addiction. Tyler graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and spent several years engaged in full-time ministry on staff at a local church prior to moving into the field of behavioral health in 2022 upon the completion of his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which he earned through Liberty University. Tyler has a passion for helping others achieve their potential by building authentic relationships with his clients and helping them understand what their strengths are and how these strengths can be used to propel their lives forward. Tyler is well versed in issues such as addiction, anger management, bipolar and borderline personality disorders, co-occurring disorders, family therapy, and trauma based treatments. Tyler often provides his clients with the opportunity to engage in a more relaxed form of therapy by offering walk-and-talk therapy that takes clients out of the therapy space and into nature where they find it easier to be authentic with themselves in counseling. Tyler enjoys spending his time playing sports, serving at church, and playing with his children, Adley and Teddy, outside. Anything to get him outdoors is good with him. Tyler also enjoys spending time with his family and taking day trips or simple road trips on the weekends.
