Her work in the field of trauma counseling has continued to expand to meet the needs of teenagers, adults, and seniors receiving treatment for unresolved childhood trauma, PTSD, addiction disorders, and depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders.
The services Kimberly offers are rooted in a Christ-centered, Biblically integrated approach that respects the science and empirical nature of research within the field of counseling. Kimberly continues to seek further education and training that allows her to increase in her knowledge of neuroscience, somatic experiencing work, and forward facing trauma therapy techniques. Her work is grounded in attachment theory paired with the use of mindful regulation.
Kimberly enjoys raising her daughter, Adley and her son, Teddy alongside her husband, Tyler, who is also a counselor. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, drinking quality coffee from a local coffee shop, baking pastries and decorating cakes, and enjoying time at home resting or crocheting alongside her four cats (Nachos, Patches, Butterscotch, and Piper) and two dogs (Gus and Penny).
